DownloadHow to Use
Choose an image, set the target dimensions and format, then select Resize Image.
Choose dimensions without distortion
Keep the aspect ratio enabled when only width or height is constrained; the other dimension is calculated proportionally. Disable it only when the target requires an exact frame and stretched content is acceptable.
For example, a 1200×800 image becomes 600×400 when you set width to 600 with the aspect ratio locked. A different source ratio gives a different height.
Resampling cannot create missing detail
Downscaling removes pixel detail and is useful for smaller web assets. Upscaling creates additional pixels by interpolation but does not recover detail that was absent in the source. Output format and quality can further affect transparency and file size.
Dimension and output limits
Input accepts PNG, JPEG, or WebP up to 10MB, with each side at most 10,000px and at most 25,000,000 pixels in total. Both dimension limits also apply to output: 6000×5000 exceeds the total even though each side is within range.
The default output is JPEG. JPEG cannot preserve transparency; choose PNG or WebP for transparent images. Quality controls apply to JPEG and WebP, not PNG.
